We’ve rounded up some of our favorite Portland creatives for a day of winter workshops. Spend your Sunday making handmade pieces you can gift to a loved one or keep for yourself (we won’t judge)!

Spaces are limited, so grab a friend, a colleague, a family member, or all of the above and grab your spot below. If you can’t choose one…do them all!

Come learn the meditative art of Suminagashi, a Japanese paper marbling technique using ink on paper with creative director and founder, Jessica Pezalla, of design studio Bramble Workshop.

After creating the paper, you’ll add gold detailing and then cut it into cards and gift tags perfect for all your holiday gifting! Guests will leave with three sheets of marbled paper and additional ideas for how to use it! This craft is perfect for all experience levels.

Jessica has created window displays, event decor, and custom art installations for Hermès, West Elm, Ella Moss, and Anthropologie. She’s also worked with event planning companies to create key pieces for events for Target, Old Navy, and Elle Magazine.

Join florist, Heather Smith behind Sea of Roses, for a workshop using fresh and dried botanicals to create a holiday inspired wreath that you can keep through the winter season.

Join Anna, baker behind Sweetheart St. Johns, to make your own show stopping edible cookie wreath. Wreath bases will be baked by Anna beforehand and during the workshop she will give an icing and styling tutorial using edible flowers, herbs and other natural elements. These wreaths will be the perfect holiday centerpiece that is meant to be shared with several loved ones or displayed as an ornament if you have enough willpower not to devour them.

There will be enough for each attendee to take a couple decorated wreaths home with them.

We're wrapping up our day of workshops with Pepé Le Moko's distinguished head bartender, Jamie Socci, as she teaches us three ways to spread holiday cheer in the form of libations for all your party needs.

Jamie will walk us through how to put together a punch, hot toddy, and a stirred cocktail with things you already have in your pantry and bar - no special trips to the store necessary. You'll get to sip on each cocktail, munch on some light snacks, and leave with the tools (and your own personalized hot toddy kit!) to dazzle your guests at your next holiday shindig.
